Brick Colic is a balanced combination of two groups of medicinal herbs….

The first group contains cinnamon, cardamom, fennel, & zingiber, comprises volatile oils, and possesses carminative, stomachic, and antiseptic actions.

The second group contains hyoscyamus and valerian having antispasmodic and sedative action.

Within therapeutic doses, this combination has potent synergistic effects, which are much better as compared to the impact of a single herb.

Brick Colic is unique in its property that being an antispasmodic it never produces distension and flatulence as some synthetic antispasmodics do because its volatile oil group immediately relieves this condition. Brick Colic is very helpful, especially in weak children in treating anorexia (loss of appetite) and general health.

Where does Brick Colic work?

It is quite useful in acute and chronic dyspepsia, intestinal colic, flatulence, nausea, vomiting, halitosis, and loss of appetite usually felt by a patient with gastrointestinal disturbance.

How does Brick Colic work?

Its first group comprises volatile oils, which exert a mild irritant action on mucous membranes of the mouth and digestive tract, which induces a feeling of warmth and increases salivation. Hence their use as a carminative. Parasympatholytic properties of the hyoscyamus cause the relaxation of organs containing smooth muscle, particularly in the region of the gastrointestinal tract.

What are the unwanted effects of Brick Colic?

No side effects & adverse reactions are reported within the therapeutic dose. In case of overdose flushing of the face & extremities may happen, which subsides spontaneously after some time.

What amount is to be taken?

Adults: One to two tablespoonfuls three times a day preferably after meals.

Infants & Children: One drop per Kg body weight of the child, if symptoms persist drug may be repeated after 15 minutes.

Brick Colic is entirely safe even if used for a more extended period, in chronic cases, Brick Colic must be taken at least for 10 days to get beneficial results.
